As a concerned resident and future councilman,
here are a few initial priorities that I think should be addressed:

  • Taxpayer Spending: Where is our money going? How will our money be spent in the next budgeted year?

  • Improvements: How are our streets & neighborhoods going to continue being improved? How will projects, like the new Stone Mountain Lawn in our village, contribute to keeping our city eco-friendly while also attracting new business?

  • Business Development: how will our council partner with businesses and city partners (such as the Downtown Development Authority) to increase revenue for our city while also lowering costs for Stone Mountain citizens?

  • Change: What new paths can the council take to aid in helping every single resident feel like their city is helping them thrive?

Representation...not empty guarantees

It's simple: representation before guarantees. After talking with multiple residents in our area, I have learned that people in our community want to know where their money is going, and to make sure it is being used most effectively. You should also know your representative, and have the right to know your needs are being met. This is why my core values for this campaign are transparency, visibility, and accountability...for every resident in Stone Mountain.
